My Stay At Lesante Blu 2024

The Warm Welcome

Upon arrival from the private transfer, you are greeted with a lovely smile and a helping hand with your luggage along with designated personnel to lead you to a seat of your choosing through the hotel. You are then given a glass of champagne, fresh small towels for your face and a nice little complimentary magnum ice cream cone to cool you down as well. You are then spoken to about the hotel, the surrounding areas and what they have to offer you. Once all the paperwork is out of the way, you will then be taken to your room and your bags and suitcases will follow shortly. You are guided through the hotel, shown the beauty that they have for you, and to start your holiday with complete relaxation at every turn.

Lesante Blu hotel

Surrounded by stunning views, this hotel is really one of the best in the Zakynthos area. If not the only one with such high quality. Told so by others we met on our travels there, that the hotel is a worlds best. Some were even staff members from the surrounding area that said this! The hotels modern style and design gives you a sense that the work put into making this exquisite hotel was of 100% and no less. With outstanding views and everything at your beck and call. This hotel stands out from the norm. Luxury standards that are the highest quality. From the security gate to the steps to the beach, this hotel has everything on offer such as:

• Private pools
• Cocktail pool side bar
• Beach front
• Spa with all amenities
• Stunning sea views

If you are looking for a 5 star hotel with all of this, then Lesante Blu is the one for you. Add it to your bucket list. I guarantee that you don't want to miss out even staying a week in this dazzling and impressive hotel.

The Rooms

There are a few rooms to choose from when booking. However, as I like my privacy. I picked the room with my own sea view and private pool. When getting to the room we thought it was just the time of day, and that's why we weren't getting any sun out at the private area, so we waited and went out to the bar pool for a while. Upon our return, there still wasn't any sun and it remained quite cold. So the next day, again we waited and had other plans, coming back once again to no sun at the already booked and paid for room. After a talk with the owner. Now offered a free upgraded room. To the honeymoon suite! Delighted, we said yes and went to have a look. Such an improvement to the last room. Once, again I had my own private pool and sunbathing area to enjoy, that actually had the sun! I think it all came down to the time of year it was and the positioning of things. I would recommend maybe going in July if you pick the sea view and private pool.

The Private Pool

Having had our own private pool before, I knew it was the right decision again to have our own. Both rooms they had given us each had its own private pool area, yet the second room had the biggest pool out of the two; giving us more space to swim. These pools where modern in design. Squared off and the edge had running water straight over. Nice sea blue tiles throughout giving a clear blue water effect. Having your own private pool area really does set you free with your own privacy to sunbathe at your leisure. The high walls in this area are brilliant for having your own space and not having people looking over at you. or invading your personal space.

The Pool Bar

The pool bar was a lovely way to spend time socialising and relaxing all at once. I spent the morning doing some photos in the sunset. Then got ready for a few hours of soaking up the sun. Having a little cocktail from the bar at my sun lounger. If you get a little peckish they offer you pool side food from the cocktail bar. I knew instantly what I wanted from the menu. Having a little sushi plater with my cocktail in the sun, made for a nice afternoon at Lesante Blu. You could really spend all day here. It's the perfect place to chill out, relax and forget all about that stress you had.

The Restaurant

The hotel has two restaurant areas. One at the bar pool area and another above just off the reception area. Where there is a large space that leads outside. So not only can you sit in for breakfast, lunch or dinner. They give you the option to sit outside in a sun area or shade. During dinner, they always have music or live musicians playing. Classical is the choice most nights. When I was there, one of my favourites was the musician playing the cello at dinner. This is such a nice touch during a romantic meal for two.

The Food Quality

I have to commend Lesante for their quality of food. As it isn't just aesthetically pleasing, but tastes absolutely amazing too,. In the room you can find a welcome package on the table with the most succulent fruit and delight awaiting. It really is worth accepting this package just so your taste buds can be invigorated. The taste of Greece on your door step, why not call room service and enjoy some fresh new food in your room. With Leasnte's menu's you can always try something new and not be let down in flavour. Trust my opinion on this, as I would never recommend flat tasting food.

The Staff

The staff go above and beyond at Lesante Blu, from our welcome party to checking out, they went overboard on making it as smooth as can be. So polite and on hands on with any of your needs. You really can just enjoy your stay without worry. Everything that I needed, all I had to do was ask the staff for help with anything and they were straight on it. When making a complaint, the manager took personal care of it all for us as well, making for a stressless stay at their hotel. If you lose your key card, the staff members will supply you with a new one on the spot so you are never stuck either. All in all, from manners to quality, the staff at this hotel really have been trained to the highest standards.

Room Service

Always ready to serve, just a phone call away room service which is available day and night. Running out of ice due to it melting to keep the champagne cold, we would request room
service via a telephone in the room. As quick as we ordered, they would come in and change it over for us, taking away the old and chilling a new one for us. Once landed, we were really quite tired and jet lagged so we wanted to settle in and scope out the hotel and area to see what they had to offer. We ordered room service for dinner that night. After making the first call for the food and drinks, they called us back to ask how we wanted the meat (rare, medium or otherwise), to be safe we both had it prepared medium. It arrived shortly after, the staff prepared the table for us and gave us everything we needed to enjoy our dinner. The room service really out do themselves, so of course don't forget you have to tip!

The Beach

Lesante Blu actually sits right on the beach, so you can make your way straight from the pool area or your room (using the stairs that lead down onto it). With sun loungers laid out all the way along in the sand, you can soak up the rays, and if you need a little cool down, what's better than walking a few feet in front of you, right into the sea for a dip. Because I like soft sand and not rocky this was perfect. Everywhere else I have stayed in Greece has had rocky beaches, so this was such a nice difference! I did some photos down at the beach on the pier; a lovely evening heading down to the beach, with a glass of champagne and taking a walk up the pier to enjoy the sundown. Blissful moments indeed.

The Spa

Offering all sorts of services, this spa has it all. I actually had to ask where it is, as there is only a small picture on the wall with steps that lead down off of the reception area. Once you go down the steps, you can feel the zen nature of this area resonating off it. Hit with a nice glow of light and a friendly face, the reception spa staff are waiting to book you in for a wide range of offers they have. Such as:

• Head and shoulders
• Full body
• Hot wax
• Hot stones
• Facials
• Body scrubs
• Sauna

There is a little book you will be given to read through, listing absolutely everything they can do for you. Once booking in, they will let you know what time and when to be there. When you arrive, you will be given a locker and room with a key, a dressing gown to get changed into for the service and more. Lesante Blu, once again demonstrating the 5 star luxury quality of the staff and services for your stay there, making it even more comfortable and relaxing. They even have a gym so if you like to work out on holiday, then this is the place for you. Why not work out, then you can go for a nice sauna, treat yourself. That's what going on holiday is for, right?

Final Thoughts

This has to be one of the best hotels I have stayed in, in a long time! They live up to the title of one of the worlds best, and as a five star hotel, they deserve that rating. They really know how to make there guests happy and satisfied. I would love to go back and stay at Lesante Blu some time in the future. I would rate this hotel 8/10, just because of the surrounding area of the hotel, and the fact that the sun hitting your private pool area wasn't as advertised. However, I do feel that this holiday has been one of the best to date. P.S

As I said previously, you should maybe make a booking for June or July to give you the best time of year to get your tan on. Especially when it comes to having a private room with pool and sea views. Overall though, it was such a relaxing and de-stressing environment which I really needed. Thanks to Lesante Blu for having me, and giving me such a beautiful time during my stay.
