How To Keep A Good Wardrobe Aesthetic

Trying to always dress to impress? In this new article I will tell you how you can always be on point 24/7!

Keeping A Good Wardrobe Aesthetic

I usually always get compliments on my style or how I dress in public which can be extremely flattering! So in this article I will give you some tips on how
to be fashion ready, even when you are going to bed.

Choose Your Aesthetic

Making the right fashion forward choices is my basis. What looks well and fits properly are important to maintain a great wardrobe. Choosing your aesthetic
can be a challenge, but this should come to you with the type of style or styles you love the way you look in. Key clothing pieces should consist of:

  • Dresses
  • Jeans
  • Trousers
  • Skirts
  • Shorts
  • Jumpers
  • Tops
  • Shoes
  • Heels
  • Boots

I style my clothing rail with a key item of each category, so that I always have something for that week or month that actually makes a complete outfit or I will be wearing something
from it, for where I am going or have planned. Having major OCD, I do like structure and control to my wardrobe, so I will always be ready whatever the occasion. For my
aesthetic, I feel comfortable with all nature tones, mainly beiges, tans and leaf greens. So, my wardrobe has a vast variety of these coloured items.

Where To Start

Feeling like you need a complete change of everything? A good place to start is having a mass clear out; old clothes, things that are to worn, or even clothes you have
outgrew. Clearing this all out makes things a lot lighter on your shoulders and a great beginning to creating your own fashion forward wardrobe aesthetic.

Pick Your Tones

As I said before, my tones are all of a nature theme. This is your choice in what you like and what looks good on you. Maybe even go bold! Have items that stand out, that are vivid primary colours that create a bold statement to your new aesthetic wardrobe. Don't just settle on anything or be a sheep and follow the heard; make this personal and style with confidence.

Accessories

Now that you have your wardrobe in order, another essential key to keeping up with your outfits are accessories. So, this ranges from anything like a hat, scarf, gloves to some
aesthetic pieces of fine jewellery to match in with your overall looks.

Here are some accessories you could maybe try to match in to your outfits:

  • Hat
  • Scarf
  • Bracelet
  • Rings

Choosing Shoes

When it comes to choosing the right shoes for your wardrobe, you may want to keep in the feel with the same colour tones as the aesthetic you are going for with the rest of your clothing choices. That way, you are matching in with everything and keeping a running theme throughout. I keep a selection out for my aesthetic clothes rail which includes, cowboy boots, Mary Jane heels, women's loafers and heeled slippers. This way I have a variety of my favourite shoes out on display to wear with my selected outfit choices.

Additional Options

More great options you could try is keeping the theme running throughout your wardrobe even with your different pyjama sets such as your nightdress or trouser and shirt jammies. Here are some ideas of mine for the beige theme that I have.

Underwear

Let's talk underwear sets, so even down to my underwear matches my clothing and what I wear that day. If you have set your mind in what colour scheme you are going for, then another great fashion idea that many women seem to forget about is constantly renewing their underwear section in their wardrobe. I keep this regulated, so I consistently maintain a collection of nice, comfortable and sexy styled underwear, so I always have new or fresh pieces added to my wardrobe. If you are stuck for choice, here are some underwear brands that I wear or shop from.
